Carnifex Ferry Cottages consists of 12 quiet, clean, and well-kept vacation rentals located on 12 heavily wooded acres right nex to Carnifex Ferry Battlefield State Park just outside Summersville, WV and it's only a 2 minute drive to the beach at Summersville Lake. It's also just a short hike from the cabins to the Gauley River.
The Driftwood Lodge is a 2 bedroom cottage located in Mt Nebo, WV. It overlooks scenic Summersville Lake from its perch on a ridge some 300 feet above the lake. Driftwood was our first rental cottage and is furnished with several interesting and unusual antiques. It is a very short walk to Summersville Lake from Driftwood Lodge.
All of our cabins are located within easy reach of all the best that our beautiful state has to offer. Most noteably, our cabins are near the New River and the New River Gorge Bridge, the Gauley River, and Summersville Lake with easy access to snow skiing resorts, golf, hiking, fishing, rock climbing, and fantastic photo opportunities for you shutterbugs.
