Bridge Day, the third Saturday of October, is the only day of the year when BASE jumping is legal at the New River Gorge Bridge in West Virginia. Bridge Day is one of the country’s top 100 festivals and is loads of fun. Be sure to reserve your cabin at Carnifex Ferry Cottages or the Driftwood Lodge early. This is a very popular date!
